Rajesh Thakkar Karate Academy (RTKA) celebrated outstand ing performances of its students representing Team India at the prestigious 9th Asian Goju-Ryu Karate Federation Tournament, held in Colombo, Sri Lanka, on May 25, 2025. The contingent returned with a remarkable tally of 15 medals – 5 Gold, 1 Silver, and 9 Bronze – contributing significantly to the nation’s success on the international stage. The RTKA team trained under Kyoshi Sensei Rajesh Thakkar whose leadership and dedication played a key role in preparing the students for competition in both Kata (form) and Kumite (sparring) events. RTKA gave heartfelt gratitude to Sensei Dhiraj Pawar, President of the Union of Goju-Ryu Karate Federation of India, for his constant guidance and unwavering support in leading the Indian contingent.
