At the heart of Curling Ribbons lies Korn’s two-year exploration of natural forms, particularly the delicate curls of foliage hidden within the natural world. Through his lens, these seemingly mundane details become striking abstractions, resonating with both simplicity and complexity. Korn’s interplay of light, shadow, and color elevates the ordinary to the extraordinary, challenging conventional perspectives. Inspired by his time with renowned Argentine painter Guillermo Roux, Korn’s shift from impressionistic photography to a contemporary, experimental style is remarkable.
