One Coffee. One Conversation. A Gut Story that was so waiting to be heard

Tushar Prabhoo November 22, 2025 2 minutes read

Stopped for a quick coffee today and got chatting with a lovely young woman — the founder of an event management company. In between sips, she asked what I do, and I shared how we spread Gut Happiness through our wellness brand, HappyGut Company.
She smiled and said, “Oh yes, a lot of people have gut issues. But I’m fine! I’ve actually lost weight — from 67kgs to 54kgs since I moved from Jodhpur to Mumbai and that too without any diet or exercise ; I just don’t feel hungry anymore. I avoid water during travel because it doesn’t quench my thirst like it did back home. My hair’s thinning a bit, skin feels dry, energy’s low and there’s this constant brain fog — but it’s all probably because of the high pressure desk job.”
And that’s when I gently said, “That’s exactly what we’re trying to solve.”
Because what she described isn’t wellness. It’s the body whispering, “I need help.”
These are the early signs of a gut losing its balance — the good bacteria, the flora and the beautiful diversity that keeps us energetic, focused and glowing from within.
Our gut talks to our brain & body constantly. When it’s unhappy, it shows up in our mood, skin, sleep and energy long before any medical reports do.
As I had to leave, I shared three simple daily rituals she could begin right away — and feel the difference within a few weeks:
1- Morning ritual: Start your day with a HappyGut Goli — your first morning cup of wholefood nourishment — followed by Hair Biotin before you head to work. Rich in plant-based omega-3s, magnesium, calcium, iron, and vitamins A, C, E & B, these two are the perfect & yummy real-food prebiotics to begin your day with.
2-Stay hydrated mindfully: Not just with plain water but with gut-loving meals and real food. I even shared a few dabba services that offer wholesome, home-style meals for the ones with a busy schedule.
3- Evening unwind: Once home, go for a walk, listen to music, cook or simply do something that helps your body and gut unwind. Listen to your gut’s whispers before they turn into loud cries.

Because in the end — a happy gut truly means a happier, calmer, more energetic you. What is your Gut whispering to you today ?
