Friends of Tribals Society (FTS), an NGO, distributed 200 water wheel drums, crucial tools for transporting water, to the Varsale Sagapada Post Parli, Wada village. These drums, lifelines for the villagers, will not only significantly ease the burden of collecting water, particularly for women and children, but also bring hope and relief to their daily lives.
FTS, a trusted and established NGO, has unwaveringly served the community since January 15, 1989. Our longstanding commitment to the community, spanning over three decades, is a testament to our reliability and dedication, instilling a sense of trust and reliability in the audience.
FTS is headquartered in Kolkata and has 37 chapters in 25 states. It runs an impressive 78,000 schools across India, with 2.04 million Children currently enrolled. This scale of operation demonstrates the significant impact FTS has on the education sector, making the audience feel the breadth of our reach and the scale of our impact.
The organisation is committed and passionately dedicated to uplifting tribal communities and ensuring their holistic development and empowerment. FTS runs the One Teacher School (OTS), also known as Ekal Vidyalaya, which imparts informal primary education to children between 6 and 14. Each class lasts for three hours, imparting a five-fold education: 1) primary education 2) health care education 3) developmental education 4) awareness education 5) sanskar education.
