The Council for Fair Business Practices (CFBP) held their Women Empowerment Summit 1.0 on 17th December 2024 at the Taj Lands End.
The summit was as a reminder of our collective strength when we work together to advance women’s rights and opportunities. The event was attended by an audience of around 400 and gathered trailblazers, changemakers, and visionaries from various industries to discuss, innovate, and pave the way for a more inclusive future.
Women Enpowerment Awards were given to the deserving. There was an engaging Fireside chat by a panel of Dr Pheroza Godrej, Nandita Das, Prasoon Joshi, Payal Kothari & CFBP President Swapnil Kothari. All shared their unique and powerful views on equality. The Fashion Show elegantly organized by Shaina and Payal, was a true spectacle. It featured some remarkable, powerful women, with Payal, Mickey, and Zakira (the acid attack survivor) closing the show in a way that truly captivated and impressed the audience. Anuradha Pal’s Tabla recital clearly showed her mastery of the musical instrument. Neha Sareen hosted the show with sheer class, flawlessness and aplomb that was expected of her.
