Workers from the BMC, Solid Waste Management (SWM) Department of D-Ward, Mr Sunil Kashinath Kumbhar and Mukadam Mr Balaram Bhikhaji Jadhav, demonstrated their honesty by going to the nearest police station and giving up the 15 Tola gold they found while performing their duty at Kennedy Bridge.
Municipal Commissioner Bhushan Gagrani congratulated them on their honest act and presented them with a one-of-a-kind gift of tickets to the stage production ‘Asthitva,’ which is based on the lives of sweepers. Shri Sharad Ughade, Assistant Commissioner of D-Ward, Assistant Engineer (SWM), and their SWD team attended the felicitation held at the BMC Headquarters.
