Smart Launches “UPGRADING”

Since its inception, SMART has been driven by a collective vision centered on education,  empowerment, professionalism, and advocacy. As one of the active voices within Mumbai’s  real estate ecosystem, SMART continues to work towards strengthening the realtor  community  and preparing professionals for an evolving market landscape.  Speaking about the initiative, Mr. Jatin Shah, Founder & current President of SMART, shared  the vision of creating a dedicated Learning & Development platform aimed at equipping real  estate  professionals with future-ready knowledge, industry expertise, and growth opportunities.  Taking this vision forward, the current SMART committee, along with select members  of the association, has curated and developed “UPGRADING” as a platform that integrates  learning, networking, and professional development.  As part of SMART’s broader roadmap, the association is actively focusing on educational  initiatives through workshops and industry-led sessions featuring legal experts, industry  stalwarts, and technology innovators. These initiatives are designed to help professionals  stay updated with evolving RERA regulations, taxation frameworks, market trends, and emerging opportunities within Mumbai’s dynamic real estate sector.  In addition to education, SMART continues to strengthen networking opportunities and global partnerships while reinforcing ethical business practices through a stronger Code of Ethics and grievance redressal framework. The association believes that transparency,  professionalism, and collaboration are essential for the long-term growth and credibility of the industry. Under this larger vision, the first flagship workshop under the “UPGRADING”  initiative will focus on Redevelopment, one of the fastest-growing and most significant  sectors shaping South Mumbai’s real estate landscape today.

The workshop will cover key aspects of the redevelopment ecosystem, including legal  frameworks, technical and commercial feasibility, on-ground practical knowledge, and  strategies to identify and unlock high-value opportunities in Mumbai’s evolving urban  landscape. With redevelopment emerging as a major driver of transformation, the workshop  aims to prepare professionals to stay ahead of market trends and actively participate in the  city’s next phase of growth.
With the theme “Learn. Lead. Transact. Grow.”, the initiative reects SMART’s larger vision of building informed, future-ready, and growth-oriented real estate professionals.  The workshop is expected to witness participation from leading realtors, consultants,  channel partners, developers, and redevelopment professionals from across Mumbai.
