The children of SRCC CASE Special Education Department (CASE), Pre-SSC and Foundation SSC classes along with the therapists came together to host a heartfelt farewell party for the Class of NIOS and SSC, celebrating their journey and achievements. The event was a perfect blend of emotions, joy, and nostalgia as children bid goodbye to their seniors with performances, awards, and a final dance session that made the celebration truly unforgettable.
The program began with a melodious singing performance, setting the tone for a morning filled with emotions. This was followed by energetic dance acts, where children showcased their talent and enthusiasm, bringing smiles to everyone’s faces. Each performance reflected the love and admiration the juniors had for their seniors.
Adding to the significance of the event, the trustee of SRCC graced the occasion, to show their support and to shower their wishes to the graduating children. The chairperson Mrs. Mala Ramodorai, addressed the children sharing a few words of wisdom. She spoke about growing, and being resilient and embracing the future with confidence.
Making the farewell even more special, Ms. Shubhada Burde one of our remarkable therapists was felicitated. She was conferred with the prestigious “Lifetime Achievers Award” for her exemplary contributions to the education of the deaf, at the International Deaf Conference held in Telangana.
One of the most touching moments of the party was when each graduating child took the stage to deliver a heartfelt speech, reflecting on their journey, cherished memories, and the challenges they had overcome. They expressed deep gratitude and appreciation for their therapists, acknowledging their unwavering support, guidance, and encouragement that helped them grow and succeed. Their words brought tears to the eyes of many, making the farewell even more emotional.
The highlight of the event was the award ceremony, where seniors were honored with fun and heartfelt titles, celebrating their unique personalities and contributions. Laughter filled the room as each award brought back cherished memories shared over the years.
As the event drew to a close, the floor was opened for a dance session, where everyone let loose, dancing together one last time before parting ways. It was a moment of pure joy, capturing the essence of friendship and togetherness.
The farewell was truly a day to remember, filled with laughter, tears, and countless memories that will stay in the hearts of all who attended. While goodbyes are never easy, this celebration was a beautiful send-off, marking the beginning of a new journey for the graduating children.
