The Orient Club at Chowpatty hosted a full-house interactive discussion on the hot topic of redevelopment by expert Vimal Jain on Sunday, February 9th, from 3 to 6 p.m. The Club, which is entering its 125th year, took up this public effort. Mr Vimal Jain is a well-known legal expert with vast expertise in property redevelopment laws.
The talk began with Anil Thakker from the Club introducing and greeting Shri Vimal Jain and all the local residents in attendance. Mr Jain described the legal procedure of redevelopment in a clear and proper manner for the benefit of the audience. The discussion lasted a long time and had to be cut short due to the scope of the subject.
People asked several inquiries about various legal issues involving property. The audience praised the Club and asked them to organize another interactive session because there were so many questions and time had run out.

He stated that he was a victim himself and now assists as many individuals as possible with the laws of redeveloping old properties and obtaining justice for them.
