It is not just an extremely powerful Ayurvedic herb but also a beautiful looking creeper. It is popularly known as False Daisy owing to the small white flowers that resemble daisies.
An evergreen, fast-growing creeping herb, Bhringraj can provide excellent ground cover to large landscape, thus providing an affordable, low-maintenance and perennial alternative to lawn grass. Native to India, this plant can grow easily almost in every region from moist places in warm temperature to tropical areas.
In Ayurveda, all the parts of this plant can be used for therapeutic purposes. Beyond the affinity towards hair, Bhringraj can effectively treat and cure a wide range of ailments liver disorders, heart ailments, tummy issues, respiratory problems, diabetes, arthritis, pain, and inflammation. It is also known to improve skin health with its antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.
