One day I woke up, hoping the day would ring in some adventure for me. I was getting ready for school. I drank my favourite Choco milk. Suddenly I experienced a tingling sensation in my body. I heard my mom shout “Kabir, Where are you? It’s time for school, drink quickly. That’s when I realized my mom couldn’t see me, coz I was standing right next to her. Yes, I had become INVISIBLE! I was super excited.
I ran down and boarded my school bus. I reached school. None of my classmates or teachers could see me. Report Card day was scheduled in a couple of days. I noticed a few of them lying on my teacher’s table. I opened my friend’s reports and converted all their bad grades into good grades. After all a friend in need is a friend indeed right?
My dance class period was about to commence. (A period I don’t particularly look forward to). I planned to escape school and seek some adventure! I reached LET’S GAME IT arcade. I am extremely fond of Ps4 CDs. I was elated when I saw one displayed on the rack in the Sale section. I picked it and put it in my bag. I removed my fav box of Chocos, (mom had packed them for me) wrote a colourful thank you note and placed them both on the rack.
The shopkeeper would surely wonder… hope he enjoys the chocolates as much as I would enjoy the PS4. I was hungry. I decided to go home and sip a healthy drink. I entered home and saw my favourite chocolate milk lying on the table. I gulped it down. I was flabbergasted when I heard mom ask “Kabir, what are you doing here? Aren’t you suppose to be in school at this hour?”
Oops! I was visible now. I ran into my room and took a nap. The next morning when I drank from MY MUG OF JOY, I really hoped THE INVISIBLE SAGA CONTINUES… This story was jointly written by Devangi and her student Kabir. Sharing ideas with each other, while creating it.. was surely exciting!
