The first session was of Amaan Mohammed performing Hindustani Classical vocals. Amaan Mohammed, along with Fareed Hassan, is also the original singer of the famous song “Garaj Garaj”, composed in Raag Megh Malhar from the Amazon Prime Video series “Bandish Bandits”. The second session of the program was of a Sarangi recital by Sabir Khan, son of Sarangi maestro Ustad Sultan Khan. Two of St. Xavier’s College undergraduate students, Hiya Kilam and Sakshi Lokare accompanied Mohammed Aman Khan in his performance on the Tanpura. The event was free for the public.
