INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY — MUMBAI is a voluntary, non- prot, humanitarian organization with the objective to protect and preserve human life & health. Based in India, it is a part of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement, hence shares the Fundamental Principles of the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement,
registered under ACT XV of 1920 of Parliament. List of various ongoing projects undertaken by IRCS- Mumbai.
Distribution of Sanitary Napkin Hampers:
Indian Red Cross Society – Mumbai has undertaken the challenge to spread awareness of
Menstrual Hygiene among the Girls of Mumbai.
IRCS-Mumbai’s main objective behind this project is to beat the stigma attached to the word “Menstruation”, educate young girls about Feminine Hygiene, improve School Attendance, and Uplift the Condence, Self- Esteem, and Creativity in Young Girls. Till now we have distributed more than 5,945,824 pads to the Needy girls and women’s. Our Goal is to reach every needy girl.
Distribution of Redimmune Multivitamin Tablets:
Redimmune Multivitamin Tablets may help us to increase our natural immunity and ght against coronavirus. Over 6000 boxes of Redimmune Multivitamin Tablets, each box contains 90 tablets were distributed by Indian Red Cross Society – Mumbai.
Covid Vaccination Drive:

Pandemic. We have done around 3000 doses of COVISHIELD
Oxygen Concentrator:
Indian Red Cross Society – Mumbai is providing this facility under doctor’s prescription, against refundable deposit of Rs 5000 with all accessories of Oxygen Concentrator.
We have also distributed 79 Oxygen Concentrators to the various Branches of Indian Red Cross Society- Maharashtra to help Needy people worth approximately Rs. 70,000 each. Total worth Rs. 55,30,000 has been donated.
Basic First Aid & CPR Training:
The society’s mission is providing relief in times of disasters/emergencies and promoting health & care of vulnerable people and communities.
Every year, thousands of people die in unintended workplace accidents First Aid Training at work even works as an excellent teambuilding exercise and in turn, boosts the morale of the team. First Aid is not about giving medicine or diagnosing a condition.
As a consequence of disaster emergencies or accidents people suffer injuries which require urgent care and transportation to the nearest healthcare facility. IRCS-Mumbai has Trained 883 individuals. IRCS- Mumbai conduct this training every month last Saturday.
Free Distribution Of Winter Clothes:
Indian Red Cross Society- Mumbai donated more than 500 winter Jackets, Blankets, Shawls, Warm Caps & Mufflers to the Needy people
