Sometimes while wandering in a park
I can intuit the flowers whisper
I envisage they are calling out to me
Pleading to all.. please don’t pluck me dear!
Sometimes wayfaring under the sun, at the beach
While I stroll gently on the sand
I perceive the sea creatures reaching out to me.. seeking help
Please don’t hurl trash in the sea or land!
Sometimes out at the mall
As I set foot into a store
I am ecstatic to hear a child utter to her siblings
Avoid using plastic bags in a month.. more than four!
Sometimes out at a café
When I order my most liked coffee
It warms my heart to see the staff say
No wasting paper- only E-bills ji !
Somewhere in-between callousness and care
Oscillates our affection and fondness for Mother Earth
My only hope and request to the young and the old
Please nurture and protect our environment daily..coz it is really worth!
