Pervin Sanghvi, a local resident, sent us the above picture. She observed this drinking water stand set up on Mt. Pleasant Road as a gesture of kindness for pedestrians seeking water in the sweltering heat of the month.
She asked around and was told that the person responsible for putting up this stand is from Darshan Apts on Mt. Pleasant Road. Summer is quite hard on delivery guys and pedestrians that visit our locality for work. Making water available to such persons is a true act of charity.
Whoever performed this act of compassion, we wish him well and appreciate his willingness to help others.
